Daniel R. Johnson

Dan Johnson is President of NewDay Recovery. NewDay is a Christian ministry that is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. NewDay has been helping individuals seeking freedom from addiction, encourage and educate their families, and equip churches with Biblically based recovery services since 2005. Prior to founding NewDay, Dan served for more than 20 years as a Senior Pastor of two churches in Shelbyville, Illinois and Kokomo, Indiana. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible, a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, and has also received continuing education and training in counseling. Dan is the author of 5 books and co-author of two books. His inspirational parable, The Greatest Soldier Who Ever Lived has sold more than 100,000 copies. Most recently, Dan authored, The Journey to Freedom, which is the basis of NewDay’s curriculum.
