Shirley Taylor

Shirley Taylor is known locally as the “street evangelist for women’s equality.” Convinced that Christian women were being held to the confines of the First Century, she founded bWe Baptist Women for Equality to advocate for full equality for Christian women.

Shirley is a blogger and has a long history of working for churches. She was employed for over 14 years as a denominational ministry assistant with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. She was a featured speaker at the Seneca Falls 2 Christian Women's Rights Convention held in Orlando, Florida, in 2010. She lives in Texas.
