Hello, I'm Lawrence J. King, author of Crumbs and children books - "A Mom and Me Day"! "My Name is Pisces" and "A Letter to My Dad". I'm a life-long resident of Washington, (Woodridge) DC. Married, father of four sons and three (Christian,Kayla and Royal) grand kids. A 1967 grad of Cardozo High School. I enjoy writing, music, history, sports, family and friends.

Crumbs (Cousins,Relatives,Uncles, Mothers, Brothers,Sisters) details part (1910-1960's) of our family lives, some difficult times my mother endure raising her three youngest children. Growing up in and around the Shaw, Le Droit Park, and other areas of Washington, DC, as well as her early years in southern Maryland.

Struggles are a part of life and can be overcome in most cases. I hope my readers can get some encouragement in their life from reading Crumbs. We had struggles but far from the worse life, we have good memories too. Remember tough times don't last forever and always cherish life.

My children books may help make positive connection in children lives. I know our children need love, uplifting, and enjoyment, the gifts that reading can help bring.
