Hey kids! Kira Vermond discovered she loved being an author back in third grade. That's when she created a kids' magazine and sold subscriptions to her classmates. Now she writes about money - and many other topics (even puberty... and lies!) - for newspapers, magazines, the Internet and radio. Half-Truths and Brazen Lies: An Honest Look at Lying is a Silver Birch nominee for 2017! Her book, Why We Live Where We Live, won the Norma Fleck Award for Canadian Children's Non-fiction in 2015.
