Nick Amies

Nick Amies is a journalist, novelist, screenwriter, music fanatic and all-round questioning human being. Based in Brussels, Belgium, Nick regularly contributes to a number of international publications such as the New York Times and The Economist, writing on topics such as music, film, popular culture, sport and architecture. While he is a renowned and serious journalist by day, he still transforms into an ardent rock fan at night. While he enjoys interviewing the stars of today, you will find him at his happiest at small obscure venues, sharing over-priced, flat beer with unknown musicians, talking about the next musical revolution to sweep us all off our feet.

When time allows, Nick writes popular fiction novels, non-fiction books and screenplays for film and television. He is also currently developing a crime noir graphic novel series for future publication.
