Max Stiller

Max Stiller is a thriller and crime novelist who has created a somewhat unconventional investigative duo in his protagonists, Anne von Feldhaus and Jacob Fuller.

He writes and lives in Munich, the city where he was born.

His books are based on extensive research and blend fantasy with reality. His writing style, too, often differs significantly from that of most other crime novels. He deliberately avoids overly flowery, long-winded, and often overly detailed descriptions of secondary settings and the people who appear in them. For him, the story (the case) and the protagonists take center stage, and despite this—or perhaps precisely because of it—he captivates his readers with a thrilling, realistic, ironic, and witty writing style.
