Phil Nova is a writer from Brooklyn, New York. While he enjoys reading many genres, he prefers to write fast-paced, suspenseful, crime thrillers for adults with a bit of mystery and conspiracy thrown in. Much of what he writes is based on real-life experiences.

Phil Nova's Joe Martello novellas can be read in any order with the exception of Original Gangsters, which is a prequel and contains spoilers to volume 5. '84 in Brooklyn is a novel based on the characters in Joe Martello Volume 5 and the prequel.
