Susan Union was fortunate to grow up in the mountains above Boulder, Colorado, where she spent her summer days galloping bareback on her pony. Though fair-skinned, she rode in moccasins and wished her hair was blue-black. She pretended to be Native American but discovered you cannot make pemmican by pounding chokecherries into strips of beef jerky. When she wasn't hanging out with her pony she had her nose in the latest Nancy Drew. Later, she fell in love with Dick Francis, Sue Grafton and Tony Hillerman. In order to emulate her mystery idols, she turned to writing full-time, but still can be found at the barn--although now you'll find her riding in a saddle on a full-sized horse. Unfortunately, her hair is still blonde.
The first book in her Randi Sterling Mystery series, Rode to Death, is available in paperback and in Kindle format on Amazon. The second book, Paws for Death, is now available in Kindle format. To learn more about Susan, visit www.susanunion.com.
