Lisa Diven

Lisa Diven is a writer, facilitator and volunteer. She facilitates Gail Borden Public Library’s creative writing program, Writers on the Fox, and Anderson Animal Shelter’s (AAS) Animal Crackers Writing Workshops. She is also a member of the Fox Valley Writers Group. Lisa’s stories are featured in the Writers on the Fox anthology, Fox Valley Writers anthologies: Foxtales, Foxtales 2 and Foxtales 3, “A Journey in Patience” in More Than a Coincidence: True Stories of Divine Intervention and “Faith” on the website fewerthan500.com. Pet-related AAS articles have been featured in Kane County Magazine, Kane County Daily Herald and newsletters/website. Lisa is currently putting the finishing touches on her first mystery novel, Scrap Bones. She lives in West Dundee, Illinois with her Harley-riding husband, Todd, and four rescued pets.
