Isabel A. M. Cole has always been interested in writing. Writing was a part of her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Connecticut, but life had other plans. Isabel spent almost nine years as a 911 dispatcher and then almost twenty-two years as an Air Traffic Controller. During her time as a controller, Isabel moved out to Seattle, Washington, where she currently lives with her daughter and a Great Dane and a Chihuahua. She retired from her job as a controller in 2013, just after graduating Law School in 2012. The incident that introduces her main characters in her first novel, Flight to Forever, actually occurred while Isabel was working as a controller one evening, just after moving to Seattle. Unfortunately, she says, no sexy pilot came to visit the tower after the incident. Isabel is currently studying for the bar exam and plotting her second novel.
