Jeff Calloway

Jeff Calloway has spent most of his life making things.

Sometimes that meant starting businesses. Sometimes it meant planting churches. Sometimes it meant building software, carving a piece of wood, keeping bees, writing a book, or trying to fix something he probably should have left to someone who knew what they were doing.

Along the way, Jeff has been an entrepreneur, pastor and church planter, corporate leader, consultant, and professional baseball chaplain. He has started businesses, helped build organizations, raised a family, watched some things succeed and others fail, and learned that some of life's best lessons rarely arrive looking like lessons.

His writing is shaped less by theory than by the life he has lived—the wins, failures, people, ordinary moments, and occasional scars that come with more than six decades of trying to figure things out.

In *Saturday Morning Leadership: What Cartoon Characters Can Teach Us About Life, Leadership, and Getting Back Up*, Jeff looks back at some of the stories many of us grew up with and discovers that they have quite a bit to say about resilience, contentment, responsibility, creativity, wisdom, persistence, and finding our way.

Jeff and his wife, Julie, have been married for 45 years. They have children and four grandchildren, and Jeff is happiest when he's making something, spending time with his family, sitting in the woods, or having the kind of conversation that doesn't require an agenda.

He still believes some of the best conversations happen on a Saturday morning with a cup of coffee nearby.
