Past President of the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association (RMDMA) as well as a recipient of their "Creative Person of the Year Award," Debra Jason started The Write Direction in 1989.

In 2017, Debra began painting with alcohol inks - a vibrant and fun medium that eventually resulted in her beginning "Creative Whispers of the Heart." As an abstract artist, she also teaches workshops in person and on board cruise ships (alcohol inks as well as watercolors). Her creations are often inspired by the colors of the ocean, flowers, and nature. Several of her journals on Amazon feature reprints of her alcohol ink artwork.

She treasures time with family and friends, loves dancing, yoga, the serenity of the ocean, and memories of walking her beautiful golden retriever, Ike, along the white sand beaches of the incredible north shore of Kaua'i.
