Brian Harris has authored several of his own books, was featured in the horror anthology Masters of Taboo: Cannibalism and has written for several publications including Monster!, Exploitation Retrospect, Gorezone Magazine (UK), Ultra Violent Magazine, Serial Killer Magazine, and Hacker's Source Magazine.
In 2011, after eight long, penniless years, the doors to his cult cinema website were closed to start a new creative venture entitled Weng's Chop Magazine, with co-editors Tim Paxton (Monster! International) and Tony Strauss (Scarlet Street). Deciding to buck the current digital-only trend, the magazine is being published through Amazon.com's self-publishing services, exclusively in print. It focuses on strange, weird and obscure genre cinema from all over the globe.
When not writing for pleasure, Brian spends time doing college work and hanging out with family. His favorite films include FANTASTIC PLANET, VALHALLA RISING, THE TIN DRUM, BLADE RUNNER, A TALE OF TWO SISTERS, DRIVE, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, DELICATESSEN, THE MAN FROM EARTH, ONLY GOD FORGIVES and THE LAST CIjavascript:void(0)RCUS.
