Gregory C. Ellison II

Gregory C. Ellison II, Ph.D. is a tenured professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Emory University's Candler School of Theology. In 2013, he founded Fearless Dialogues, a grassroots organization that creates unique spaces for unlikely partners to engage in hard heartfelt conversations. His acclaimed second book, Fearless Dialogues: A New Movement for Justice, examines the theories and practices that Ellison and his colleagues at Fearless Dialogues have used to help nearly 20,000 people around the globe face taboo subjects.

Ellison is a proud graduate of Frederick High School, Emory University (B.A.), and Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div., Ph.D.).
