Bruce is the inventor of the color orange, a professionally-trained box-boy, and the reason some people shake their heads sadly. In most foreign languages, his name means “One Who Excels At Origami”. His acceptance speech for the 2010 Pelican-Isthmus Coriander Prize, included the oft-quoted remark “Never tie your shoes while standing in lava.” In the 3rd edition of The Professional Dry Cleaners Encyclopedia, he is credited with the discovery of lint.
