Shawn Carson

Shawn Carson was born and raised in a small village in Lancashire England in 1962, with a yearning for city life and international travel that lead him to work as a consultant to international businesses, first in London then in 1996 in New York City, the greatest city on the face of the earth.

Following the advice of Renaissance gentlemen he retired from his position as a senior partner in a major accounting firm in 2006 to pursue his passion for travel and study of the human mind. Becoming a certified hypnotist, and a hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) trainer, he set up a center in New York City with his wife Sarah where they see private clients and run training courses to share their passion for hypnosis, NLP and other mind-body courses.

In 2013 he published his first book, Quit: The Hypnotist's handbook To Running Effective Stop Smoking Sessions with Sarah and their business partner and good friend Jess Marion. He plans a series of books on hypnosis and NLP as they can be applied to any area of life from therapy to business to spirituality.
