Garman Lord

Are the old forgotten pre-Christian heathen gods of Europe dead? Not at all, says retired Cartographer Garman Lord, artist, poet, mystic, the founder of Theodish Belief, author of "What Does Heathenry Mean?" and the "Commando" series of 'fair play' murder mysteries, beginning with Commando Chronicles book 1, "A Summer Like No Other." This series details the worldly adventures of an "old-god-sprung" gang of young people, incarnated in Middle-Earth as part of a pre-Christian European folk gods' plan to overthrow Christianity and take their world back. The first challenge to be met by these god-sprung young folks? They are born with the godly minds, but not the godly memories. They have to learn the hard way that they were sent here on an earthly/godly mission. Interesting idea, but why mystery-crime escapism? Because it's more fun, says Garman. "It's what folks want to read." A side note: Lord's "Commando" series is not fantasy. "None of your 'Game of Thrones' swords and sorcery bullfeathers here," says Garman, who claims that his "Commando" series is all based on little-known, half forgotten but authentic ancient heathen lore.
