Jae Erwin

JAE ERWIN writes, teaches yoga, and supports people through major life changes. She lives on the wild Pennine hills in the UK. She loves reading fiction - thrillers, crime and suspense - especially if there is a thread of the weird and mystical running through. Jae has a passion for the desert, tribal cultures and nomadic mysticism and has had one or two desert adventures of her own.

She has a Masters in psychology, has trained in Integral Psychotherapy, and is fascinated by personality dynamics and holistic, combinatory healing methods--such as mixing psychotherapy with shamanic practices.

Inspiration for her first novel, Stillness Dancing, came from a trip to Sinai and reading kidnapping accounts from the Middle East, most notably, An Evil Cradling by Brian Keenan. Jae has three more novels in progress and has written many short stories, several of them published. A poem or six lurks in her dim and distant past.
