Jace R. Broadhurst

Jace grew up in Rockville, MD and has served as Senior Pastor of Poolesville Baptist Church since 2006. He has his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. from Westminster Theological Seminary. He loves the academy and is professor of Biblical Studies and Hermeneutics at Columbia Evangelical Seminary and adjunct professor at Washington Baptist University. In addition to the United States, Jace has taught seminary and university classes in the Netherlands, Trinidad, Uganda, Kenya, and China, and plans to continue to make this a regular part of his ministry. He loves the academy but he loves the church even more. He desperately wants to see his community transformed so that it is most satisfied in Christ. He hopes that the gospel will grow in the hearts of his congregation and will flow over into Poolesville and beyond. In addition to this ministry and no less significant is his family. He loves spending time with his wife and three boys, riding bikes, playing games, and having all out sword and gun battles throughout the neighborhood.
