Nancy DiTomaso

Nancy DiTomaso is Vice Dean for Faculty and Research and Professor of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School—Newark and New Brunswick. Her research specialties include the management of diversity and change, the management of knowledge-based organizations, and the management of scientists and engineers. She has co authored or co edited several books and has had articles published in such journals as Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Annual Review of Sociology, Leadership Quarterly, California Management Review, Sex Roles, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. Her most recent book, The American Non-dilemma, is published by the Russell Sage Foundation. She is also doing research and writing on organizational transformation and leadership, addressing issues such as the changes in the structure of organizations, work and careers, and the management skills needed for the coming decades. Professor DiTomaso has conducted workshops, offered seminars, conducted survey research, and provided other professional services on a consulting basis for major corporations and public agencies.
