Lark Eden

Lark Eden writes novels and short stories of horror and supernatural suspense. A Clockwork Army was the first in the Steampunk series: Vampire Extraordinaire, followed quickly by A Clockwork Victim. She is currently working on the third installment to the series, A Clockwork Reckoning to be released fall 2019.

Lark has loved vampires, steampunk and Victorian England since before it was cool. Previously living in Chesterfield in the isolation of the North of England and traveling the UK contributed to unbridled imagination of the most gothic of horrors and monsters. Lark currently lives in Austin, Texas with the bats and five cats.

"I love to write horror because the feelings are raw and are expressed through the characters’ actions. A friend of mine told me he liked horror because there was a certain “release” involved in experiencing the story. When I started to write horror, I finally understood the freedom that cathartic feeling he was talking about via experiencing the story. And besides, it’s pure fun!"
