C.M. Olney

C.M. Olney (Chris Olney) was born in Stamford, Connecticut, (1952) to Italian parents, her Mother, American born. Her father, immigrated from Calabria, Italy.

Her first short story, "Lost in the Library," was awarded second place at the Brick City Center for the Arts in 2014 and was performed by the Ocala Story Tellers. She published her first book titled, "Whispering Quail and the Lost Ankh Ring", in July of 2013, and a sequel, "Whispering Quail and the Witch's Curse", in March of 2017. She recently launched her first children's picture book titled. "A Blustery Eve" in December of 2017. Chris, an artist for most of her life, illustrated all of the art in her published works including the cover art.

Residing in Ocala, Florida with her husband, two children and three grandsons, Chris dedicates the majority of her time to writing and commissioned illustrations. She is currently working on a third book in the "Whispering Quail" series and a Romance novel with a thriller twist.
