Jean LaMantia

Jean LaMantia is a registered dietitian, cancer survivor and best-selling author of The Essential Cancer Treatment Nutrition Guide and Cookbook, which helps cancer patients use nutrition to manage their treatment side-effects.

Her second book; The Complete Lymphedema Management and Nutrition Guide is an excellent resource for those with lymphedema as well as health professionals. Jean and her co-author Ann-DiMenna have produced a comprehensive guide including over 100 photos and recipes to detail the very best self-care strategies for lymphedema.

Jean's most recent book is Complete Intermittent Fasting: Practical Guidelines and Healthy Recipes to Lose Weight and Improve Wellness, explores the evidence for intermittent fasting and provides you with a step-by-step guide for those interested in trying intermittent fasting.

She has also self-published several journals. The Lymphedema Journal is a weekly planner for women with lymphedema where they can record their lymphedema, their self care and their nutrition. The same is available for men in the Lymphedema Log Book for Men. She paired down the size in the Lymphedema Daily Tracker and Self Care Journal.
