David Livewell

David Livewell won the T.S. Eliot Poetry Prize for his first collection, Shackamaxon (Truman State University Press). His new collection, Pass and Stow, appears from Paul Dry Books in 2026. His poems have appeared in Poetry, The Hudson Review, The Threepenny Review, The Yale Review, Southwest Review, The Hopkins Review, American Life in Poetry, Poetry Daily, Verse Daily, and other periodicals. Anthologies include Common Wealth: Contemporary Poets on Pennsylvania, Keystone Poetry, and Heart of the Order: Baseball Poems. He grew up in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and lives with his family just outside of Philadelphia.
