Beth Moriarty

Beth Moriarty is "purlqueen" at her website, PlanetPurl.com. Planet Purl combines two of her three favorite things, knitting and traveling. Her books feature those two as well as her third, cooking. her books are as much a celebration of travel and regional food as they are knitting pattern books!

Beth escaped from the practice of law after 25 years of courtroom battles for a life surrounded by yarn, fabulous yarn. Her only battles now involve unknotting misbehaving yarn on her yarn swift and ball winder. She lives in Orlando and near Blowing Rock, NC with her husband, Michael, and her three dogs, Paris, Tally and Chelsea. Her dogs make guest appearances in her 100+ how-to knit and crochet videos on YouTube. Her husband has yet to appear on screen, but she's working on that.
