Mike Norris

I'm a native of Eastern Kentucky (Jackson County). I love the poetry of William Butler Yeats, the music of the Beatles, and the carving of Minnie Adkins. I've played guitar and harmonica for about 50 years and am starting to catch on.

When I was five, a first grade teacher showed me a book that I remembered as "The Golden Key." It was about a little boy and little girl who went into a magic world through a large rock in the forest. I wanted to go into that world too. I started looking for this book later and searched for it unsuccessfully for most of my adult life. A couple of years ago, my wife found it on the Internet and gave it to me for Christmas. It was called "The Magic Key."
