Shane D. Smith

Shane D. Smith earned his Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Arizona while working as a propulsion engineer (though he still prefers the term “rocket scientist”) in the defense industry. He enthusiastically enjoys anything to do with science, science fiction, and fantasy, in addition to playing and making games. When he’s not working, reading, writing, or making 3D models, Shane likes hiking and cycling if the weather is nice (and sometimes when it isn’t).
