Frances Sackett

Frances Sackett has worked as a writing teacher and editor for nearly twenty years. Her first novel, The Misadventures of the Magician's Dog, was selected for the 2014 IRA/CBC Children's Choices List and was named one of Bank Street's 2014 Best Children's Books of the Year. She lives in LA with her two children, who inspire her to write the best stories she can.

She doesn't yet have a magic dog but remains optimistic.
