Wayne Pierce was born and raised in California. He attended high school in Los Gatos and college at San Jose City College and San Jose State. His early interest was with horses and he eventually taught English equitation at the elite Menlo Circus Club. Pierce began working for IBM in 1957 at their new facility in San Jose. He spent about half his thirty-six year career in management. Since retiring from IBM, Pierce has written articles for two news sources. He recently published his first book, "Charles Schwab and the US Government: A conspiracy to obstruct justice," which is a nonfiction account of his eleven-year ordeal with broker Charles R Schwab and presidents Bush and Obama.
