Kate Gladstone teaches and remediates handwriting as CEO of HandwritingThatWorks.com and pen.guide, and also directs the World Handwriting Contest. She co-designed two iOS handwriting training apps, designed the Stage-Write Raised-Line Handwriting Paper series produced and distributed by Therapro, and created the TriOn customizable pen-grip series (distributed by Therapro, Therapy Shoppe, and National Autism Resources) as well as a pen designed to teach and motivate handwriting improvement techniques, Ofher work includes US Patent #5,018,208 (asignature verification system for pen-computers).
Kate began her handwriting work at age 24, after self-remediating her own long-standing handwriting issues while in graduate school. Earlier, at college, Kate had been kicked out of a logicians’ club ... for being (the club president said) too logical.
