Jane Treat

Jane Treat is a writer and storyteller, who has written and performed stories for more than twenty-five years. She has collected, developed, and written stories through years of exploration and learning in places as diverse as the Lacandon Selva in southern Mexico, the South Island of New Zealand, the Great Basin Desert in eastern California and the streets of Washington, DC. She also runs workshops and retreats on life transitions for women of all ages.

In addition to writing and storytelling, Jane has years of experience as a community organizer and currently runs an elementary school library.
