Cathy M. Rosenthal

Cathy M. Rosenthal is a longtime animal advocate, certified humane education specialist, author, and syndicated pet columnist for My Pet World. She has been speaking and giving workshops at animal welfare conferences for more than 35 years, and writes for various pet magazines and animal welfare organizations, focusing on animal issues and pet behavior to improve the human-animal bond. During her career, Cathy has worked for local humane societies and national humane groups in public relations and humane education, appearing on hundreds of news, public affairs, and entertainment programs to discuss animal issues. She has a passion for teaching, public speaking, and telling stories to help both children and adults better understand how to care for their pets. She has shared her home with five cats and five dogs throughout her adult life.
