Anthony Stanford

Stanford''s critically acclaimed, cutting-edge perspectives on politics, race, and religion have been published by the Chicago Tribune in the form of such articles as “Race as a Burning Issue,” “On a Day of Rebirth, Grieving a Loss of Faith,” and “Marriage Equality in Illinois.” Stanford’s first book, Homophobia in the Black Church: How Faith, Politics, and Fear Divide the Black Community, broke new ground by focusing on the political aspects of homophobia in the African American community.
