I am a lover of books, a bibliophile or philobiblian. I also do a great deal of research on my subject matter, a polyhistor. I look after my own extensive library, a bibliosoph. Lastly, I Write. I carry a notebook and pen wherever I go.
I also love words. I was born and raised in rural South Carolina in the community of Bethel in York County. I married young and grew up with my two sons Arnie and Robb. My wife fed us tuna surprise on occasion and once in a while we indulged in hamburger helper.
I wrote my first book during high school and wish I knew where I could find it now. As an Independent Writer, I have published twenty-one books and just found on an old laptop, eight more that have not been published. My genres are hard to nail down, romance, historical fiction, children’s fantasy, and science fiction, and of course, poetry. My ever-present companion, Minerva the cat, is always on my desk to make sure I correct all my mistakes, she misses a few. I love the mountains, the beach, Florence Italy, Scotland and my wife Diane, who wonders constantly what I am doing on the computer.
