After growing up all over the country, following my Air Force dad, I finally landed in Dallas. I raised 3 daughters by myself, and all of them turned out to be smart, productive and relatively sane! I have a beautiful little princess, my 2yr old granddaughter, Charlee, that lives with her parents when I can't talk them into letting her come stay with "Ammaw". Charlee knows me for my most important attributes (to a 2yr old)...my shih Tzu, Bitsy and the fact that I keep bubbles at my house for her amusement. No, really, she sees me and immediately asks "Bitsy?" and then "bubbles?". I guess I could be known for worse things!

I love travelling, reading and writing, live music and outdoor festivals, and "My" Dallas Mavericks!! I do allow Mark Cuban and Donnie Nelson to run the team, and mostly let them hire the coaches and the team. Hey, at every home game, they introduce "YOUR Dallas Mavs"...that's how I know they're mine :-)
