Christopher Merkner

Christopher Merkner teaches in the creative writing program at the University of Colorado, Denver, and for the Lighthouse Writers Workshop, also in Denver, CO. His stories can be found in issues of the Black Warrior Review, Chicago Tribune's Printer's Row Journal, Cincinnati Review, CutBank, DIAGRAM, Gettysburg Review, Gulf Coast, Fairy Tale Review, Hotel Amerika, Laurel Review, Midwestern Gothic, New Orleans Review, New South, and The Collagist. His stories have been reprinted in the Best American Mystery Stories (2011) and the O. Henry Prize Stories (2015) anthologies. He is the author of The Rise & Fall of the Scandamerican Domestic (Coffee House 2014).
