Mike Roos

Michael Kim Roos is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College. In addition to publishing scholarly articles on Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and Ernest Hemingway, he is also a singer-songwriter, having released three albums of his own material: "Kangaroo," "Songs From the Flood Wall," and "Begin 2." His first book, "One Small Town, One Crazy Coach," is the story of the improbable journey of a 1963 small town high school basketball team to the Indiana Sweet Sixteen, told in novelistic form. His second book, "Reading Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms: A Glossary and Commentary," co-authored with the late Robert W. Lewis, is part of the Kent State University "Reading Hemingway" series. His new project is a book-length commentary on the works of Bob Dylan.
