Luke Barr is the author of THE SECRET HISTORY OF FRENCH COOKING, as well as RITZ & ESCOFFIER, and the New York Times bestseller PROVENCE, 1970. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, architect Yumi Moriwaki, and their two daughters.
