Robert W. Vallin

Dr. Vallin is a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Lamar University. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from North Carolina State University. His research interests are in real analysis and topology along with recreational topics including card tricks and KenKen puzzles. In the classroom, he is a strong advocate of Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) and the author of IBL notes on Advanced Calculus.
