Lisa LaMonica

Lisa LaMonica is an author, illustrator and fine artist in upstate New York who has received awards for her artwork.

Images of America:Hudson/Arcadia Publishing; a recipient of a grant from Furthermore, a program of the JM Kaplan Fund. Lisa has written for Chronogram Magazine, Haunted History Trail NYS, and PBS/WMHT. The image of Cecil the Lion was used by the animal rights group Justice for Cecil the Lion on the day they marched on Washington for animal rights. Nominated twice Best Author Hudson Valley Magazine.
