Michelle Berman Marchildon
Michelle Berman Marchildon is the Yogi Muse. She's an award-winning journalist, columnist and the author of four books on yoga.
Her first book, "Finding More on the Mat: How I Grew Better, Wiser and Stronger through Yoga," is a yoga memoir based loosely on the Bhagavad Gita. It is one woman's search for purpose in life. She will have you laughing through the tears to enlightenment.
Her textbooks for yoga teachers are the "Theme Weaver" series. The first book, "Theme Weaver: Connect the Power of Inspiration to Teaching Yoga," shows how to create classes quickly and effectively, as well as speak authentically from the heart. The most recent book, "Theme Weaver: A Companion Workbook to Plan Yoga Classes," is the inspiration edition. It is 60 yoga themes and classes you can edit and then tear out with perforated pages.
In 2017, Michelle co-authored a book with her teacher, Desiree Rumbaugh, called "Fearless After Fifty: How to Thrive with Grace, Grit and Yoga." Fearless is an inspirational book using scientific evidence, Eastern and Western based philosophy and yoga so we may live our best lives in the second half. It was awarded one of the year's most inspirational books by Aspire Magazine.
Michelle is an E-RYT 500, YACEP accredited yoga teacher living in Denver, Colorado. She takes yoga seriously, and herself lightly. Her mission in yoga, and in life, is to change the world one yogi at a time, while finding the light in enLIGHTenment.
