Jon Carter

Jon Carter is an English teacher at Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, Alabama. He teaches Creative Writing, advises the literary magazine, and enjoys writing along with his students. The Traitor's Chair is his first novel.

Jon is married to fellow author Betty Smartt Carter, who is also the children's director at Altadena Valley Presbyterian Church. Jon is presently obsessed with the game Settlers of Catan, swims laps at the local recreation center, and reads young-adult books for fun.
