Meagan Micozzi

Meagan Micozzi was born in New Jersey, raised in Washington, D.C. and educated in New England. When she relocated to the desert of Arizona, she found herself, literally, a fish out of water. Finding comfort and inspiration in the foods of the southwest, she set out to learn all she could from local chefs and natives and eventually launched Scarletta Bakes, a blog devoted to her original recipes and photography. Her recipes have been featured on The Huffington Post, The Kitchn, Gourmet, Bon Appétit, and her blog was named a 'Site We Love' by Saveur. Micozzi resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
