While living in the village of Cambria, California for the last thirty years, I became part of the practices of the New Age, the American Native culture and the witch culture as practiced in the community. I was a Hospice nurse for seventeen of those years and was exposed to unworldly events emanating from the patients I served. From these observations, I wrote seven fictional novels based on real life events. I have shared these in lectures at Cal Poly Institute, a CSU campus, at many of the recognized occult booksellers in California and Las Vegas and in news print and magazines.

I was educated in New England at Gordon College and at Indiana University. I studied for an MFA at The San Francisco Academy of Art. I lived in Beverly Hills while working with the Jack Scagenetti Talent Agency before a move to Cambria where I began writing novels. My family has a more than three hundred year history on a South Carolina plantation, now open to the public. From this culture I was taught the occult by my family as were others of my cousins. It is a tradition passed down as I have to my son.

Much of my life-long learning for casting spells, casting out spirits, transitioning, and healing are shared in the novels I have written. I share the lives of others who have done the same in a fictional format. For certain we share the world with a host of other spirits who can be tapped into for good or evil. The knowledge gained from reading these novels will assist any on the path of understanding the mysteries of the occult.
