Natalie Silk

Natalie had a dream when she was twelve about a girl named Dahliea. She had other dreams about Dahliea and she wrote them all down as short stories. The first collections were for junior high and then high school.

She had to put aside her writing to pursue a ‘serious’ career.

She went back to college and wrote yet another version about Dahliea for one of her classes. After receiving her degree, she worked in the manufacturing industry as a quality auditor until her job was outsourced. She now works in the finance industry helping people keep their homes. All the while, she collected rejection letters for her short stories and first manuscripts about Dahliea.

Where the average person would say that Natalie is insane for pursuing a dream of seeing her stories published; she would say that she is tenacious.
