Before venturing into fiction, Stephen Webb wrote screenplays, textbooks, and episodes of the TV series Biography, where he profiled, among others, James Coburn, Alec Guinness and Elizabeth Taylor. His first novel Glitter Girl, cowritten with Toni Runkle, was called "an empowering message about staying true to oneself" by Kirkus Reviews. Runkle and Webb are currently working on The Pirate's Curse trilogy, whose first installment, Brigands of the Compass Rose hit bookstores in 2023. He loves baseball, cheeseburgers, and family, although not necessarily in that order.
