Mazen M. Sinjab

Dr. Mazen Sinjab is Syrian, born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 1970, and grew up in Syria (the lost paradise).

Since he was a child, Dr. Mazen Sinjab has the spirit of making a difference. He started writing novels when he was 12 years old.

After he had graduated as a physician from the faculty of medicine at Aleppo University in Syria, Dr. Mazen Sinjab started studying the branch that he loves, ophthalmology; that was in 1993 at Damascus University in Syria. "During my study, I felt that the way of education was routine and classic," Dr. Mazen Sinjab stated. "I felt that there must be a new teaching method, and I dreamed of being the one who would make it," Dr. Mazen Sinjab added. In 2008, he could make his dream a reality. Dr. Mazen Sinjab authored his first book in ophthalmology. Although it was a small book, but was very successful due to the methodology he created. In 2010, he wrote his second book, which was top-rated worldwide due to his innovative method. Since that time, Dr. Mazen Sinjab writes a book almost every year. All my readers feel that he has a unique approach in presenting information in a direct-to-the-point and straightforward way.

Dr. Mazen Sinjab is also a medical researcher and course instructor. He contributes to regional and international conferences through presentations and educational courses. His courses are top-rated, and according to the audience feedback: every time they attend his classes, they learn something new. Moreover, to make his courses available for all ophthalmologists, he established his Sinjab Academy channel on Youtube, containing more than 30 videos and his Sinjab Academy channel on Telegram that includes more than 2000 members from all around the world.

"The more you live, the more you learn." That is his belief. Dr. Mazen Sinjab is an excellent learner. "I have a very humble spirit, which allows me to accept criticism and be keen to improve myself," Dr. Mazen Sinjab says. He is also academic. He has a Master's degree in ophthalmology, an Arab Board Certificate, a Ph. D. degree, and the Certificate in Laser and Refractive Surgery from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London."

Due to all of that, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London granted Dr. Mazen Sinjab an honorary fellowship in 2015. He has many other awards, such as the Honorary Ambassador Golden Medal and Esteemed Faculty Membership from Light For Sight Foundation, Switzerland, and the Appreciation Shield Award of the year from His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Ahmad Al Saud. Dr. Mazen Sinjab feels very proud of that and looking forward to more awards.

Nevertheless, Dr. Mazen Sinjab is an examiner at The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and a visiting professor of ophthalmology at Hassan II University, Casablanca, Morocco.

Finally, Dr. Mazen Sinjab is a senior consultant ophthalmologist in my clinics in Dubai, UAE, and Damascus, Syria.
