John Finch

John Finch (1988 - ) is a West Coast guy who was born in Cambridge, Maryland. Finch spent most of his youth traveling up and down the I-80 through Wyoming, Utah and Nevada, and his young adulthood on the road through Colorado, Idaho, Arizona, Oregon, California and even parts of Mexico.

Finch's writing draws from a variety of influence and the Beat Generation, jazz music, epic poetry and hopefully a little Henry Miller, come to mind when reading his poetry and prose.

Finch started writing at an early age and before his first book of poetry was released in 2013 - 'Willows, Women, Highways, and the Sea' - he appeared in such periodicals as Jerry Jazz Musician, the Bijou Poetry Review, and KOFIENA magazine.

His third collection of poetry - 'Time in Towns and Cities' - was released April 2019.
