David lives near South Lake Tahoe, CA., where he loves anything outdoors. His short stories: 1) "Deceived," appeared in "Felons, Flames and Ambulance Rides," (2013/Oak Tree Press); 2) "On the Wagon," appeared in "American Blue,"(2011/Varro Press); and 3) "Fear in Children," appeared in "True Blue," (2004/St. Martin's Press). David spent 37 years in law enforcement and published "The Theory and Practice of Collaborations in Law Enforcement," (2012/The International Journal of Police Science and Management [14(3)]). David's first novel, "Valley Heat" appeared in 2016. His first children's fable, "Princess and the Hummingbird" should be out in the spring of 2026. His second book, Ten 'til Seven should appear in 2027. David currently works for the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center, serving victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and elder abuse.
