Personal note: Why I wrote Date Night Conversations
As a therapist, counselor, and coach I have worked with hundreds of couples who have struggled with their relationship. Often I find that the source of pain is in their past and they are not aware of it and don't know how to get out of their cycles of pain. It is very rewarding when I can help a couple stop blaming each other, understand the real issues, and learn how to create the conditions in which love and intimacy can flourish. I want all couple to have this experience.
This book is written to teach you how to have the conversations you need to get out of your own cycles of pain and deepen and strengthen your marriage. It is designed as a stand-alone book and also as a companion workbook to my online home study course(www.reimaginemarriage.com).
It is my sincere hope that your marriage will be enriched through these resources. I invite your questions, comments, and feedback. Together let's re-imagine marriage!
